Digital empowerment
Free and Emancipating Digital Tools
De-googl-ify Internet
Online services that respect our integrity and privacy? It’s possible! From video conferencing to calendars and mailing lists, Framasoft makes these (open-source) services available to more than two million users every month.
Framaspace
Framaspace’s objective is to enable associations and activist groups to use digital spaces for sharing and working in line with their values. Launched in 2022, this ambitious project serves thousands of communities every day.
Development of free and decentralised software
PeerTube
PeerTube (alternative to Youtube) is a free and federated software that not only allows to view, publish and interact with videos but also to create its own video platform. Independent, free and federated platforms are possible!
Mobilizon
Mobilizon (an alternative to Facebook events and groups) makes it easy to organize events and meetings. Framasoft created the project and led its development from 2018 to 2024.
Yakforms
Yakforms is the software currently powering our online forms service, Framaforms. Developed by Framasoft since 2016, it is now nearing the end of its life, and we plan to use the Liberaforms software to replace it.
Framadate
Framadate was also the name of the software (developed by Framasoft) behind the Framadate mini-poll service. Our flagship service was replaced by a new software called Pollaris in late 2025, but we maintained it for 15 years.
Democratizing free software
Framalibre
Framalibre is a directory presenting free software and free culture in general. The writing of the records is community based (like Wikipedia): all users are encouraged to create, improve and modify the records, to enrich the directory!
